Limited Hardware Warranty

Effective Date: April 19, 2026

This Limited Hardware Warranty ("Warranty") applies to IgorBox-branded hardware products purchased directly from IgorBox.com or an authorized IgorBox reseller by the original purchaser ("you"). This Warranty supplements, and is subject to, the IgorBox Terms and Conditions.

1. Warranty Coverage and Period

• IgorBox warrants that its hardware products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use in accordance with published documentation for 12 months from the date of delivery.
• Dead on Arrival ("DOA"): If your product fails within 30 days of delivery, IgorBox will, at its option, provide an advance replacement or exchange (stock allowing).
• Any replacement hardware may be new or refurbished and is warranted for the longer of: (a) the remainder of the original warranty period; or (b) 90 days from the replacement shipment date.

2. Remedies

If a covered defect arises and a valid claim is received within the applicable period, IgorBox will, at its option and expense:

• Repair the product; or
• Replace the product with an equivalent product that is new or refurbished; or
• If repair or replacement is not commercially reasonable, refund the purchase price paid.

These remedies are your exclusive remedies under this Warranty.

3. What Is Not Covered

This Warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from:

• Installation or operation of non‑IgorBox firmware, bypassing or disabling secure boot, bootloader modifications, or any unauthorized modification of software or hardware.
• Misuse, neglect, accident, improper installation (including all electrical wiring, connections, and failure to comply with applicable electrical codes), improper storage, exposure to extreme environmental conditions, or operation outside documented specifications.
• Normal wear and tear (including cosmetic damage), consumables, or accessories not supplied by IgorBox.
• Use with third‑party components or accessories that are not approved by IgorBox.
• Electrical stress, power surges, liquid contact, fire, or other external causes beyond IgorBox’s reasonable control.
• Products with removed, altered, or defaced serial numbers/labels.

Software and firmware are provided "as is" and are not covered by this hardware Warranty (except that official IgorBox firmware is warranted to operate on compatible IgorBox hardware as documented).

4. How to Obtain Warranty Service

1. Contact IgorBox Support at help@igorbox.com with your order number, serial number, a description of the issue, and troubleshooting steps taken.
2. IgorBox may provide remote diagnostics and/or require proof of purchase.
3. If your claim is approved, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions.
4. Ship the product as instructed with the RMA number clearly visible on the exterior packaging.

Shipping responsibilities:

• DOA within 30 days: IgorBox provides a prepaid shipping label for return and covers outbound shipping of the replacement.
• Warranty after 30 days: You are responsible for inbound shipping to IgorBox; IgorBox covers outbound shipping for approved warranty repairs/replacements.
• Risk of loss remains with the sender until the product is received by IgorBox, except when you use an IgorBox‑provided prepaid label.

RMA numbers expire if not used within 14 days of issuance.

5. Inspection and Determination

All returned products are subject to inspection. If a returned product is found to be ineligible for warranty service (e.g., due to exclusions in Section 3), IgorBox will provide a quote for out‑of‑warranty repair or return it unrepaired at your expense.

6. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED ABOVE AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IGORBOX DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. IGORBOX IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. THE LIABILITY LIMITATIONS IN THE IGORBOX TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLY.

This Warranty does not apply to safety‑critical or high‑risk use cases without IgorBox’s prior written consent. The products are not designed, manufactured, or intended for use in life safety systems, emergency systems, medical devices, critical infrastructure, or any application where failure could result in death, personal injury, or severe property damage.

Customer is solely responsible for the proper installation, configuration, and use of all hardware products, including all electrical wiring and connections, compliance with applicable electrical codes, use of appropriate power sources and fusing, and ensuring installation is performed by qualified personnel where required.

7. Ownership of Replaced Parts

Any hardware or parts replaced under this Warranty become the property of IgorBox. Repaired or replaced products may contain new or previously used components equivalent to new in performance and reliability.

8. Governing Terms

This Warranty is governed by the IgorBox Terms and Conditions and applicable law. In case of conflict, the Terms and Conditions control.
